Question #11:

Will my "non-Fanimation" remote/speed control work on Fanimation fans?

Answer:

Fanimation does not test other manufacturers' products at our factory. If a customer wishes to attempt to control a Fanimation fan with a "non-Fanimation" remote control, Fanimation will not be held responsible for any damage that may occur. If customers do use a "non-Fanimation" remote control, it must have set speeds and not gradual/infinite controls, which may damage the fan, cause humming and other noises and cause the fan to work improperly.
